Communications Manager

Brittany has had an interest in all things "story" for as long as she can remember. Her love for comics began in 2008 through Marvel and blossomed into creating content for the fan community and collaborating with prominent creators of the time. As a woman of multifaceted skills and interests, her love for storytelling and experience with narrative design soon brought her on a collision course with Courageous Comics.

With a day job as a preschool teacher, she leverages her versatility to assist the team as the Communications Manager. Originating as a contracted editor for Courageous Comics, she now steps into that role permanently as well as developing strategies to help further the reach of the company's voice and mission. Understanding the impact of underrepresentation, she was drawn to the compelling mission of Courageous Comics. As a natural protector and defender, she is fueled by a desire to give those in the disability community a voice and a permanent place on the stage of entertainment.
